There are a number of ways you can travel up to Val Thorens, and you can add airport transfers or coach travel to your booking.

Airport Transfers

We are offering LuvSki passengers the option to add either return or one-way private airport transfers from the below airports:

  • Geneva

  • Grenoble

A private transfer would normally be a taxi or minibus, depending on your group size, therefore the cost is higher compared to a shared public.

For the most flexibility, Geneva offers the most options of departure airport and times, whereas other airports such as Chambery can be more restricted and therefore the transfer options more limited.

Public or shared transfers will operate to and from Geneva Airport. The public transfers may not always depart or arrive at your specified time but will be as near to as possible.

Please note that our website only allows you to select one set of flight details per booking. If your group is travelling on multiple flights, please get in touch with our customer service team who can add multiple transfer options to your booking.

Road Trip

Fancy driving up to the Alps? We would suggest using the Eurotunnel which goes from Folkestone and travels under the channel to Calais, runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the journey time is just 35 minutes!

The journey time from Calais up to Val Thorens will depend on traffic and weather conditions and how many stops you make along the way. As a rough guide, we would say this can take between 10 - 12 hours although roads can be very busy on Saturdays as this is the main arrival and departure date.

You'll need to make sure you have parking arranged when you arrive in resort - there will usually be some form of resort parking, covered and non-covered. Please note most resorts will and do tow and ticket vehicles parked on the main roads around resort so please be careful where you park to unload your vehicle and park whilst in and around the resort.
