What date does the coach depart from the UK?

Coaches will depart from the UK on 1st December, arriving in Tignes on Saturday 2nd December.

Passengers who book to travel by coach will receive all departure information, including departure time, 14 days prior to departure with their eTickets and on the NUCO passenger app.

What are the pick-up and drop-off locations for the coach?

You have the option to get the coach from Oxford, Cambridge, London or Dover Docks. Please note, that not all coaches will stop at each pick-up point and some will have limited capacity available, so please ensure you select the correct location.

If you wish to change your pick-up or drop-off location, you can do so until your holiday payment deadline by managing your booking on your NUCO account here. After this time, any changes cannot be guaranteed, but we will try our best to accommodate your request.

What is the baggage allowance for passengers travelling by coach? Can I bring my skis or snowboard?

As all coaches have limited hold space, each passenger is only permitted to one hold bag and one smaller bag to carry on board. Hold bags must be a soft shell (any hard shell bags will be refused) must not exceed 76cm x 45cm x 45cm and weigh around 18kg. Ski or snowboard boots must be packed within hold bags and not in a separate boot bag.

Only pre-booked ski and snowboard carriage will be permitted on the coach, this will be checked when boarding the coach.

All passengers are responsible for their own luggage at all times, ensuring bags are not left unattended and that they are loaded onto the coach in the UK and in resort. Please do not ask friends to take your luggage to resort or back to the UK on their coach for you as this will not be allowed, you need to travel with your own luggage.

How long is the journey to Tignes?

If you are travelling by coach, the journey to Tignes will generally take around 15 hours from leaving Calais, the ferry port in France. The journey time can and generally does change depending on how busy the ferry and the roads are, the weather conditions and how many stops are taken along the way.
