Which airports will the transfers run from/to?

The majority of airport transfers for Varsity Trip 2023 will run from Geneva, however, there will also be some transfer options from Lyon and Grenoble.

What time should I book my flights?

Outbound Transfer - You should book an airport transfer which departs with enough time for you to get through immigration and collect your luggage after your flight has landed. This can vary depending on how busy we anticipate the airport to be, however, we recommend booking flights that land a minimum of 45 minutes prior to your transfer departing.

Inbound Transfer - We recommend booking a flight that departs a minimum of 2 hours after your transfer arrives back at the airport which should allow you time to check in and clear security.

It is better to have additional time at the airport and be early for your flight/transfer than it is to be late! Please note that these times may be longer due to extra measures at immigration or passport control.

How long will the transfer take?

The transfer time varies depending on which airport you are travelling from, however, you can expect it to be approximately 3/4 hours but can be longer depending on the weather conditions and the volume of traffic travelling up to Tignes.

Can I bring my skis/snowboard on the transfer?

Yes, you can book equipment carriage for your transfer on the booking page. Only pre-booked equipment carriage will be permitted, and must not weigh more than 18kg and not exceed the dimensions: 2m ร— 0.35m ร— 0.25m.
