Both our policies are valid (with some exclusions) if the FCDO are advising against all but essential travel to your destination due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The exclusions being any claims arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with the pandemic will not be paid. Policy holders must be aged 18 years or over travelling legally and exclusively in Europe, where such FCDO advice is solely based on the existence of an epidemic or pandemic in the country or area being travelled to or through.

Hence if the FCDO advise against all but essential travel

  • Our policy will continue to be valid and to cover all other non Covid-19 related valid claims.

  • Our policy will not cover Covid-19 related medical or repatriation expenses or any other in resort Covid-19 related claim. However, cancellation cover will still be valid, see this Covid-19 FAQ for specific details.

It is a condition of booking insurance with NUCO that you have read, understood and agreed to Endsleigh's Travelling Against FCDO Advice information.

Prior to paying your final balance, NUCO will give you the opportunity to cancel your holiday and receive a full refund. If you decide to pay your balance you will be required to agree to our acknowledgement of risk. Once you have agreed to this, and if we are able to provide the package you have booked, you are agreeing to travel even if FCDO advise against all but essential travel.
