As Varsity Trip 2023 has a maximum capacity and limited spaces, we may open a waiting list if the trip has sold out and there are no more spaces.

To confirm your place on the waiting list, you will need to go through the whole booking process, select your options and confirm payment of the deposit to secure your spot. If you do not pay your deposit, your space on the waiting list will not be confirmed. The waiting list is ordered by the time the deposit has been paid, not by the time you open the booking page.

For any booking options with a capacity (for example, equipment carriage or events) you will not be able to add these options whilst your booking is on the waiting list. If your booking is then upgraded to a confirmed booking and there is space available, you canlog in and select these options.

If and when a place becomes available on the trip, we will process the waiting list and whoever is in 1st position will be upgraded to a confirmed booking. They will then receive a booking confirmation and will be required to pay the outstanding balance prior to the payment deadline (26th October 2023).

Unlike a confirmed booking, you will not receive a booking confirmation as you do not yet have a confirmed place on the trip. On making payment of the deposit, you will receive a payment confirmation email from Worldpay.

Whilst on the waiting list, you can log into your account to see which position you are currently in and we will send you an email advising if your booking has been upgraded.

If you are not upgraded to a confirmed booking and place on the trip, your waiting list booking will be cancelled and the deposit available to claim back. To claim a refund please submit your bank account details here. If you no longer intend to travel on the trip, please remove yourself from the waiting list as if your booking gets upgraded, our standard cancellation fees will apply.
